Senior Manager \/ Manager – Sukuk Investment Desk \u2013 Kuwait<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Responsibilities: <\/strong>Under broad supervision, manage Fixed Income \/ Sukuk Portfolios, Research and Recommend various Investment Strategies for the Banks Investment Portfolio. Work in a Team environment with other Structured Finance Transactors.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Develop and maintain the Bank\u2019s annual Sukuk Investment Thesis<\/p>\n

Manage and grow the Bank\u2019s Sukuk Portfolio in conjunction with Treasury and Finance Groups.<\/p>\n

Develop Profit Rate Swap Strategies for managing Fixed Income Portfolio duration.<\/p>\n

Obtain Shariah Approval on each new Sukuk Issuers.<\/p>\n

Research and monitor Fixed Income Market for new Investment ideas for Portfolio consideration.<\/p>\n

Execute individual Fixed Income Transactions while adhering to the Bank\u2019s Sukuk & Credit Policy.<\/p>\n

Initiate, monitor successfully execute and settle primarily Fixed Income Trades in conjunction with internal Operations, and outside Brokerage relationships.<\/p>\n

Review annual Sukuk Investment model. This document will include, target portfolio composition, growth rates, RAROC, pricing guidelines, cost of funds and minimum yield considerations<\/p>\n

Monitor the progress of the Group\u2019s Sukuk Portfolio and ensure Compliance with regulatory and internal limits.<\/p>\n

Circulate a monthly report to the Sukuk Investment Committee for review.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

Min. Bachelor\u2019s Degree required; CFA designation will be advantageous<\/p>\n

Around 7\u201010 years of experience in Fixed Income \/ Debt Capital Markets<\/p>\n

Experience in Islamic Banking and Sukuk market preferred<\/p>\n

Excellent knowledge of Financial Analysis and good understanding of Strategic Relationship Management<\/p>\n

Good awareness of the various Corporate, Treasury and Retail products.<\/p>\n

Strong communications skills with an excellent command of the English language is a must, Arabic is a plus.<\/p>\n
