{"id":2152,"date":"2023-01-22T09:47:02","date_gmt":"2023-01-22T09:47:02","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.globalbankers-rec.com\/?post_type=job_listing&#038;p=2152"},"modified":"2023-03-01T00:11:03","modified_gmt":"2023-03-01T00:11:03","slug":"senior-market-maker-associate-mena-equities-kuwait","status":"expired","type":"job_listing","link":"https:\/\/www.globalbankers-rec.com\/?job_listing=senior-market-maker-associate-mena-equities-kuwait","title":{"rendered":"Senior Market Maker \/ Assistant Manager &#8211; MENA Equities \u2013 Kuwait"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Senior Market Maker\/ Assistant Manager &#8211; MENA Equities \u2013 Kuwait (reports to MD)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Role:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Place bid and ask orders on shares of companies that we are market makers on.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Constant monitoring of Order Book of Shares we are Market Makers on during market hours<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a thorough understanding of Market Terms and Trading Practices in order to remain up-to-date with latest trends and market movements.<\/li>\n<li>Compliance with CMA &amp; Boursa Kuwait Regulations regarding Market Making<\/li>\n<li>Analyzing daily Market Movements and Trends<\/li>\n<li>Understanding the Trading Activity of Shares and their reactions to Market Movement and Buying\/Selling pressure<\/li>\n<li>Comprehend and follow all relevant Departmental Policies, Processes, Standard Operating Procedures and Instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.<\/li>\n<li>Ensure continuous efforts are exerted to contribute to the Social Environment of Kuwait Society in all areas through CSR initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Perform other related duties or assignments as directed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics or equivalent.<\/li>\n<li>5 years of experience in Trading on the Kuwait Stock Exchange whether on the Buy or Sell Side<\/li>\n<li>Bilingual Arabic and English<\/li>\n<li>Technical Analysis<\/li>\n<li>Excel Skills<\/li>\n<li>Market Awareness<\/li>\n<li>Customer Orientation<\/li>\n<li>Decision Making<\/li>\n<li>Working under market pressure<\/li>\n<li>Disciplined market hours<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If suitable and interested in this excellent opportunity; please forward your updated CV in word format to info@globalbankers-rec.com for review.
